Trials of NixOS
I finally got around to trying NixOS. I'm still getting a handle on how to get everything into a single config file but overall its very intuitive and easy to learn.
The only minor issue i've run into so far has been with trying to use podman in place of docker which seemed to be recommended but for whatever reason doesnt play well when i try to integrate it.
The plan is to move a few of the lightweight services of gravitywell over to this small NUC that is the current testing box for NixOS. If it ends up going well and everything works, I may start using NixOS as the main OS on Gravitywell's servers, but it will be a while before i feel comfortable doing that.
