On Jellyfin
Currently in the process of curating the Jellyfin library into more manageable categories. When complete we will have something like: Movies, Documentaries, Anime, Comedy, Music
These are going to be very loosly defined by how I personally assess things but community feedback is welcome. For the most part this is just aimed making the main movies/shows library slightly easier to manage.
This means some content you are looking for might be located under a different section at some point, but everything is also still searchable across all libraries.
On FunkWhale
Funkwhale has thankfully been running well since the re-boot. Federation is working (on our end at least) and uploads have been working. Backups are done weekly but don't include the actual media because sorry crew but backing up tens of thousands of files is too time and resource intensive and this isn't a music backup service, its a move fast and break things style hacker project aimed at disrupting the capitalist music industry.

Requests are currently disabled while we rebuild and re-organize the library.

Yeah so I did that. This is writefreely, so it's federated. You can try commenting on this post from other federated services like mastodon or lemmy.
